 Today .. His Highness the Minister of Defense opens Prince Nasser Bin Abdulaziz center for Autism, in the neighborhood of Mather

Opened by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense on Sunday evening, Prince Nasser bin Abdulaziz center for Autism which follow the saudi autistic society, and the presence will include of a number of their princes, and ministers and businessmen.

And His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Chairman of saudi autistic society raising his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - To his approval to release the name of His Royal Highness Prince Nasser bin Abdulaziz - may Allah have mercy on him - on the Autism Center held by the Saudi Society for Autism Mather district of Riyadh, His Highness Indicating that it was completion of the establishment of the center and equipped according to international standards as the first model of autism center in the Kingdom, to offer its services to various categories of autism of both sexes and all ages.

According to the newspaper, Riyadh, His Highness said, "We have agreed to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense on the opening of this center of the keenness of His Highness to support charitable activities and humanity in this great country, especially targeted for people with disabilities", HH highlighted that the members of saudi autistic society and its board of directors are keen to seek to provide the best services for this category in different regions of the Kingdom through the establishment of specialized centers, Which is in line with the directives of Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which is always keen to develop services for persons with special needs. At the end of his statement, His Highness pray to Allah the Almighty that this center will contribute to the advancement of services provided for the care and rehabilitation of the category of autism.

For his part, Dr. Zayd ibn Abdullah Al Mashari adviser to saudi autistic society that the center of Prince Nasser bin Abdulaziz, for Autism is the largest center in the Kingdom and Arab countries, as has (166) autism and works in two shifts (morning and evening) and has teachers (male,female) and specialists people with expertise in this area. He told the newspaper "Riyadh" The saudi autistic society each year attracts international experts to give lectures and workshops to upgrade skills and refresher.

The Association provides its services online for more than (500) in the case of centers and their subsidiaries (Riyadh, Dammam,Jeddah), Also Prince Nasser bin Abdulaziz center for Autism has (Early Intervention Unit, the unit of boys' education, and vocational rehabilitation unit for boys, and vocational rehabilitation unit for girls, and the overall unity of the clinic for the diagnosis of autism and similar disorders), the clinic Has contributed in early detection of cases, making the center accepts children from the age of two years of age. this clinic Has been established in 1426, the first comprehensive clinic operating multi-disciplinary team system. Also that the saudi autistic society has two branches, one in Jeddah, Makkah and the second in the Eastern Province city of Dammam, It follows these two branches centers provide care and rehabilitation for children with autism, Work is under way to open other branches in each of the Medina and the Rafha city in North.

It should be noted that the saudi autistic society is out of its mission to increase community awareness about Autism, organizes an annual campaign for a month to raise awareness of disability autism (on the occasion of World for Autism Day April 2), Which was approved by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him - on the launch of His Highness name on it.

The campaign was launched by Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to raise awareness of Autism in 1426, and is organized each year in five major cities and small in various parts of the Kingdom.
