Prince of Riyadh Region opens 20 parks and squares distributed to all regions of the capital
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, will inaugurate 20 environmental and entertainment projects on a total area of more than 270 thousand square meters, which comes in the framework of Riyadh Municipality projects aiming to humanize Riyadh and to concern of man and place and to promote the comprehensive vision to meet the needs of urban growth witnessed by the city of environmental and entertainment projects and creating garden parks in all new residential districts and compounds.
His Highness Mayor of Riyadh Region Engr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan noted that projects which will be inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince of Riyadh region include Prince Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf Park in Al-Hamra district in between exit 9 and exit 10, Al Ma’alem Park which is located in Al Mugharrazat district on the eastern ring road in between exists ( 9, 10), and Al Ha'ir Park.
Engr. Al Sultan said that His Royal Highness will inaugurate 5 parks in eastern of Riyadh, including Al Khaleej, Al Salam, Al Yarmouk, Qourtaba garden parks and park in Nadheem district, in addition to parks in the west of the capital which are located in Uraja’a, Al Manakh and Laban districts, also HRH - may God preserve him - will inaugurate garden parks in the north of Riyadh ,which are distributed in Rabee’a and Al Ma’ather districts, and 2 parks in Al Ghadeer district, and one park in Al Morouj district, as well as municipal squares project, which are distributed in Erqa, Al Quds, Qourtoba and Al Nada districts.
His Highness Mayor of Riyadh Region appreciated the honored attendance of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, for opening new environmental projects, which are part of “Humanizing Riyadh” Project, aiming at creating a lasting and positive relationship between the man and place, and providing environmental, entertainment and service humanitarian needs of the capital city population.
Engr. Al-Sultan noted to the concern and support to Riyadh Municipality through His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz and his directives to provide all means and services to residents of the capital of Riyadh, and also HRH sponsorship and promotion to environmental, entertainment and humanitarian projects, pointing to the advantage of the garden parks and municipal squares in the establishment of social entertainment and development activities.
