Minister of Municipalities and Rural Affaires signs contracts for six new projects in Riyadh for more than half billion riyals
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs signed contracts for six new municipal projects for Riyadh Municipality at a total cost of more than SR 500 million.
Municipal projects list included the construction of two tunnels project in two scattered sites in Riyadh city at cost of SR 159,028,169 , and project of establishing Traffic Control, in addition to the removal , pavement and edgings works for obstacles ,and, installation of road signs , Blur signals and landscaping ,as well as the installation of ground cabinets and lighting works in residential neighborhoods of Riyadh at cost of SR 49,999,57.
The list also included establishing and pavement of sidewalks and streets lighting projects in municipalities of Howtat Bani Tamim, Al Halwa, and Al-Hayaniya, and pools at cost of SR 31,028,48, also pavement and establishing sidewalks and streets lighting projects of Al-Kharj Municipality at cost of SR 94,994,22, and project of waste and ruins transfer of vacant plots and streets of Al-Nassem and Al-Rawda municipalities in the east of Riyadh at a cost of SR 32,895,000 .
In construction field, list of new municipal projects included the construction of the administrative center of Nemar Municipality in Riyadh city at cost of SR 199,988,062.
All these projects come from the concern of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to meet the needs of the citizens and provide them municipal projects and services in all regions, cities and provinces of the Kingdom, ensuring the improvement of the level of municipal services, which keep pace with the construction boom, experienced by the cities of the Kingdom.
