The General Directorate of Environmental Health in Riyadh Municipality has won the best Saudi work environment award for 2017. The department came in second place after the Capital Market Authority among government agencies. It is considered the first and only participation at the level of municipal sector. The award was received by Dr. Falah bin Abdullah Al Dosari, General Manager of Environmental Health Directorate in Riyadh Municipality in a ceremony held by the donor company on Monday evening.
The winning of best work environment in Saudi Arabia for the year of 2017 award is an affirmation of providing the best work environment for employees, where this award was competed by about 200 government agencies, companies and profit and non-profit organizations according to a global methodology, which is applied in 50 countries worldwide.
The “Best Saudi Work Environment” Award aims to encourage application of best practices in human resources and creation of effective and stimulating work environment, in which all opportunities are equal to encourage excellence, and contribute in growing competition between government agencies and national companies, to enhance their role in international markets and promising institutions for growth and leadership in their field.
The participation in this award is a great addition to the concept of healthy work environment and stimulating capacities and development of practices and solutions to raise the level and quality of workplace ,through healthy and positive competition for this award, as improvement of work environment has become a necessity and a prerequisite for success, and importance of investment in human capital and its impact on productivity and profitability .
