His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, inaugurated - remotely - today, the "Arafat Bridge" project in the Al-Aziziyah neighborhood, in the presence of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, the Mayor of Riyadh Region and the undersecretaries of Riyadh Municipality.
His Highness, the Governor of Riyadh Region, expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - for the support and attention that the region receives from the bids and services that clearly contribute in promoting the quality of life in the capital.
In H.R.H.'s speech during the opening ceremony of Arafat Bridge considered the project one of the standard projects in terms of its services, area, and size, as well as the implementation period, appreciating the project workers for their sincere efforts.
For his part, His Highness, the Mayor of Riyadh Region, explained that Riyadh Municipality's projects are keeping pace with a very important development stage of Riyadh city which have witnessed a great development in recent years, and it has been keen on improving the quality of life and strengthening the infrastructure as a service for the city, appreciating H.R.H. the Governor of Riyadh Region, for his support and a direct follow-up to the projects and the means of achievement according to the set timeline.
Then, Prince Faisal bin Bandar and the attendees watched an introductory film about "Arafat Bridge", which is 1600 meters long, with 6 main lanes and 4 service lanes, in addition to the aesthetic elements in its implementation, including lighting and side designs.
The opening ceremony was attended by Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Uraifi, the Principality's Assistant Undersecretary for Development Affairs, and Eng. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Rabiah, the Advisor to His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region.
