Engr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Mayor of Riyadh Region opened the Cultural Street Festival which held at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street "Al Tahliya st. previously" in Olaya district, which lasts for 8 days.
The festival comes as the first cultural event which being hold in an open area, as part of the annual events calendar organized by Riyadh Municipality, the festival includes many of cultural and creative activities, which coincides with the mid-year vacation of 1438 AH.
Cultural street festival which was launched yesterday Thursday with a large presence included a lot of cultural, reading, art, painting, sculpture, streets arts and folklore performances, in the presence of professionals and artists of these arts, where events starts at 4.30 PM to 11:00 PM. The festival is presenting many diverse and distinctive events including allocating panel to write a word about our beloved country, painting on the wall, abstracted painting corner, reading corner, and streets arts corner which includes silent man and robots, as well as painting on sand corner, scientific Ibn Sina corner, your health corner, folk corner, time culture corner, Sports Studio Corner, and traffic culture corner, and it has been allocated corners to social media such as "Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Riyadh Municipality has welcomed residents and visitors of the capital Riyadh during the holiday to visit the festival and look at one of the culture aspects to all cultural arts in the Arab cultural capital and to participate in associated events.
