2025-10-29As part of the Ezwah Forum and Award for Community Participation, the Riyadh Municipality signed 15 cooperation agreements with the Council of Nonprofit Associations and several community development organizations across Riyadh neighborhoods. The aim is to support and empower community programs and initiatives, enhancing their role in improving quality of life and promoting civic engagement.
This initiative comes within the municipality’s efforts to expand partnerships with the nonprofit sector and strengthen developmental work at the neighborhood level through Madinty Offices, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to sustain the nonprofit sector and increase its contribution to national development.
The agreements included various community development associations in neighborhoods such as Al-Falah, Al-Shumaisi, Al-Salam, Al-Mahdiyah, Al-Izdihar, Al-Jazeera, Al-Ra’idah, Al-Ma’athar, Al-Hamra, Qurtubah, Al-Rayan, Al-Nahdah, King Fahd District, and the associations of Al-Murouj, Al-Ta’awun, and Al-Musayyaf.
The agreements aim to strengthen the integration of roles between service and community entities, enable volunteer and development initiatives to reach neighborhood residents, and improve the quality of social services provided to them.
