The staff of Riyadh Municipality and their families contributed to funding the construction of a mosque as part of the Roadside Mosques Care Association initiative, reflecting their strong sense of social responsibility and promoting values of solidarity and cooperation within the workplace.

The "One-Third of the Sacrifice" initiative, launched by the Riyadh Municipality, recorded a 33% increase in the number of beneficiaries this year, reaching 140,798 beneficiaries compared to 105,536 in 1445 H. The amount of donated meat also rose to 159,825 kilograms, up from 111,138 kilograms last year reflecting growth in the initiative, increased donations, and an expanded community impact.

Riyadh Municipality has provided services to more than 29,000 pilgrims through six centers distributed across various governorates in the region as of 8 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH. This initiative is part of the municipality’s integrated efforts to support the Guests of Allah and ensure a smoother and safer Hajj experience.

His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may Allah protect them – on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. He prayed to Almighty Allah to return this blessed occasion upon the Kingdom, and the Islamic and Arab nations, with goodness, blessings, and prosperity, and to accept the pilgrimage of the pilgrims.

Riyadh Municipality has provided 39 licensed slaughterhouses across various neighborhoods of the capital to facilitate the performance of the Eid al-Adha ritual and to provide organized, safe services that meet the needs of residents and visitors during the 1446 H Eid season.

Riyadh Municipality has launched the temporary electronic permit service for slaughtering animals in kitchens during the Eid al-Adha season for the year 1446 H. This initiative is part of the municipality's efforts to enhance the quality of municipal services and improve the efficiency of operations related to the Eid season, thereby promoting public health and environmental safety in Riyadh.
