.  Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Riyadh Municipality – “Urban Data Center”

Riyadh Municipality and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and partnership to develop innovative smart solutions that enhance quality of life in the region and strengthen collaboration between both entities across various fields.

The agreement aims to establish the “Amanah Data Lab” to support the Municipality’s decision-making process, improve quality of life, and advance its diverse operations, services, and initiatives. It also seeks to leverage SDAIA’s technical capabilities and employ cutting-edge technologies and tools to enhance the quality of municipal services. The initiative focuses on building data- and AI-driven technological solutions that promote sustainable urban management.

The Amanah Data Lab will focus on improving analytical and predictive capabilities, deploying smart city solutions, and utilizing data analytics and artificial intelligence models. This will be achieved through sharing technical expertise and conducting proof-of-concept experiments for Riyadh Municipality’s smart city projects.
