Riyadh Municipality, in collaboration with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), has strengthened its efforts by distributing self-service recycling machines (RVMs) across parks and public facilities in Riyadh. This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability by encouraging positive recycling behaviors, reducing waste volume, and lowering carbon emissions.

These machines represent a practical model for supporting the circular economy, as they help transform waste into recyclable resources while offering smart and sustainable waste management solutions aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Moreover, SIRC showcased the recycling machines during the inauguration ceremony of Riyadh’s parks, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region. The event marked the inauguration of 25 new parks across Riyadh.

This initiative is part of Riyadh Municipality’s commitment to the “Saudi Green Initiative” and its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life in the city through sustainable environmental projects. The project aligns with the municipality's strategy to foster strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving sustainable development and strengthening the role of the private sector in enhancing the urban environment.
