When the city of Riyadh expanded and developed very quickly and at high rates at the urban, demographic and cultural levels, the burdens of the Municipality doubled and its projects multiplied in various facilities and services, the Municipality tended to apply regional decentralization within the city limits of Riyadh. In 1422 AH , the decision of His Highness the Mayor of Riyadh Region No. 8479/1 dated 14/6/1422 AH was issued to adopt the new division of sub-municipalities as of 6/10/1422 AH.

In line with the responsibilities entrusted to us in the municipal sector, and in accordance with the pioneering directives of the blessed Saudi Vision 2030 under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, we strive to provide the best municipal services to citizens and residents alike and to work towards elevating the performance level of this vital sector.
