Governor of Riyadh: 54% Completion of Metro Project .. Capital’s Residents are satisfied with quality of life

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region and chairman of ADA, confirmed that the implementation of the Riyadh Metro project is proceeding unhindered and according to the timetable set for it, explaining that it exceeded the most difficult stages of its implementation, represented in digging deep tunnels, revealing that the percentage of completion is 54%, noting that work is under way to implement the rest of the elements of stations ,accommodation centers ,maintenance and others.

After HRH chairmanship of the 2nd meeting of ADA, in its headquarters in Safarat district, in the presence of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdul Aziz, Vice President of ADA, HRH mentioned in a press statement that train cars started arriving in Riyadh to be installed after the project completion, noting to high international standards according to which the project was established and will be operated in the future.

Prince Faisal bin Bandar cleared that the meeting also reviewed study results of the population satisfaction survey on the quality of life in Riyadh, which revealed a high level of satisfaction with the quality of life in the city, and also approved a number of water ratio reduction projects in a group of neighborhoods, which are most affected by this problem, which will reflect positively on the lives of residents in these neighborhoods.

For his part, HE Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan , the member of ADA, Head of the Projects and Planning Center in ADA said that meeting reviewed the results of population satisfaction survey on the quality of life in Riyadh city, which is prepared by ADA to monitor the attitudes and concerns of the population regarding a wide range of services and facilities, urban and development issues in the city, and to reveal the future trends and needs of the population.
