Eng. Al-Fares: Capital projects improve quality of life

His Excellency Eng. Tareq bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares, Mayor Riyadh Region raised his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for the launch of 4 major quality projects in the city of Riyadh at a total cost of SR 86 billion.

His Excellency said "These major projects which have been launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, supported by God, are among the initiatives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, operated by “Major Projects Committee” under the chairmanship of His Highness ,aiming to improve the quality of life in Riyadh, to the levels that fit the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Eng. Al-Faris pointed out that the 4 major projects (King Salman Gardens Project, Green Riyadh Project, Al-Masar athelitic Project and Riyadh Art Project) are pioneering projects in its fields and will contribute to the enhancement of environmental, social, economic, cultural, sports aspects in line with objectives of «Vision 2030».

He cleared that the 4 projects will contribute in doubling the individual share of green spaces in Riyadh city by 16 times, and planting more than 7.5 million trees throughout the city, as well as its role in embracing artists and innovators, creating museums, theaters, Cinemas and arts academies, which promotes cultural and artistic aspects.

"The 4 projects will motivate residents of Riyadh and its visitors to follow a healthy lifestyle by providing a 135-km-long track which links the east of the capital by its west, and includes pedestrian, bicycle and horse lanes in a healthy entertainment athletic environment” He added.

Eng. Al-Fares called Almighty of Allah to perpetuate this country and promote it and save the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect him - for the good of the country and its people.
