His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Mayor of Riyadh Region, raised his sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister , Minister of Defense , Chairman of Economic Affairs and Development Council, and Chairman of Public Investment Fund, on the occasion of the announcement of "Neyoum" project, which is located in the northwest of the Kingdom within a special development area with a total area of 26.500 square kilometers.
His Excellency pointed out that the new project, which is being developed by the Public Investment Fund with the participation of a number of local and international investors, reflects the wise vision of His Highness Crown Prince, and represents one of Kingdom’s 2030 Vision initiatives, targeting selecting 3 cities in the Kingdom among the top best 100 cities in the world -God willing- .
Eng. Ibrahiem Al-Sultan said that new city of “Neyoum” is characterized as a new vital destination, in which 3 continents meet, and through this place, 10% of the world's trade is passing as planned and developed from scratch ,according to modern standards and technologies, which are superior to other cities in the world, and offers incentives and benefits to their residents in a special regulatory environment, which contains the best minds and competencies together, to exceed the limits of innovation to the highest levels of human civilization.
His Excellency pointed that “Neyoum” project will contribute in developing the Kingdom's economy by increasing the Kingdom's total domestic production and developing a number of promising sectors, such as modern technology and renewable energy, as well as creating new job opportunities for skilled people in the project.
At the end of his statement, His Excellency Mayor of Riyadh Region called God Almighty to facilitate the launching of this ambitious project, to grow in it the good and benefit of our country, and to preserve this blessed country under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
