Riyadh Municipality is preparing to launch the Heritage and productive families Festival next Sunday in each of the Qadisiyah neighborhood park in eastern Riyadh, and Al-Bejeri yard in the historic Dir’iya, with participation of more than 120 productive families.
The aim of the Riyadh Municipality through the festival is to open a marketing window for productive families, especially before the holy month of Ramadan, which is a distinctive period of marketing products of these families, and introducing them and their products to the public, especially in light of the need to fasting Iftar projects during the holy month.
Riyadh Municipality understood the needs of families through the choice of distinctive times and locations for them, to meet the requirements of marketing and sale of their products, and this time came to be an appropriate period for the families before the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.
Riyadh Municipality also pointed out that the festival opens the doors of livelihood for productive families, whether through marketing popular meals, handicrafts, accessories, or clothing and other, indicating that the festival will include accompanying attractive events for visitors, like old farm that mimic traditional farms with all its components, and corner of popular accessories in the Arab island, Poet and sheelat tent, which contains colors of popular folklore, in addition to the rest site under the name of "Arish Al Dhifafa”.
It is noteworthy that this festival is one of Riyadh Municipality initiatives which is included in the annual events calendar, directed to residents of the capital, which are spread over months and seasons of the year, the latest of them was “Spring of Riyadh Festival”, which was held in two locations during the past spring holiday.
