Prince of Riyadh inaugurates Riyadh Spring Festival in its new look

HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, has inaugurated 13th "Riyadh Spring" gardens and flowers festival in the new location on King Salman Road at the intersection with Prince Turki Al-Awal Road, which will last for 10 days.

His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Mayor of Riyadh Region, has praised the attendance of His Royal Highness Prince of Riyadh Region for opening the festival, noting to concern and support of His Highness to Riyadh Municipality and His Highness guidance in promoting awareness and entertainment programs and festivals.

Engr. Al-Sultan said that Riyadh Municipality has sought to renew, develop and diversify “Riyadh Spring Festival”, in elements and location of the festival, through the use of recycling operations, whether in both of the establishment of flowers village, pedestrian paths, gardens, rock channel, as well as fences using wood, stones, tires and iron, and taking advantage of festival as touristic destination during the middle vacation of the second half of academic year.

Mayor of Riyadh Region expressed his thanks to sponsors and participants, including Saudi Telecom Company, Ministry of Agriculture, King Saud University, National Water Company, King Khalid International Airport and private companies which working in the field of maintenance of Riyadh parks.

The Spring Festival of Riyadh this year is a new and radically different form previous years, in terms of elements, space and surprises prepared by Riyadh Municipality for visitors.
