Riyadh – The Riyadh Municipality, in collaboration with the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP), has announced the opening of submissions for scientific and professional contributions to the 61st edition of the ISOCARP World Planning Congress, scheduled to be held in the Saudi capital from December 1 to 4, 2025.

The Municipality invites urban planning professionals, researchers, policymakers, and experts from around the world to submit their papers, projects, visions, and proposals under the congress’s five main themes. The final deadline for submissions is June 13, 2025.

Hosting this global congress in Riyadh serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and showcasing best urban practices. It strengthens the capital’s position as an international hub for sustainable urban planning and reflects the Riyadh Municipality’s commitment to more advanced cities and improved urban life quality — in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
