The Riyadh Municipality revealed that it had approved plans with a total area of more than 21 million square meters to provide 23.5 thousand housing units, between villas and buildings, during the period from January 2022 until the end of last August.
It indicated that the approved plans amounted to 23 plans with an area of about 22 million square meters, in addition to 22.7 thousand residential villas units, and 867 residential buildings units.
It added that these credits contributed to achieving comprehensive urban development in the city, increasing the number of offered housing units, enabling the real estate sector to grow and expand, in line with the national housing plans, and raising the proportion of citizens' home ownership.
