Riyadh Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today (Monday) with BAE Systems. The agreement aims to strengthen the municipal sector’s role in supporting and empowering people with disabilities, through joint initiatives and the operation of the Municipal Disability Center in the Al-Hamra district of the capital.

The MoU was signed at the center’s headquarters in Al-Hamra, in the presence of representatives from both sides. It was signed on behalf of the Riyadh Municipality by Mr. Abdulwahab bin Fardan, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Engagement, and on behalf of BAE Systems by Mr. Steve Clutton, Managing Director of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia.

This collaboration comes as part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance community partnerships with the private sector, with the goal of launching impactful initiatives that improve beneficiaries’ quality of life and support urban sustainability efforts in Riyadh.
