2025-06-14Riyadh Municipality has provided services to more than 29,000 pilgrims through six centers distributed across various governorates in the region as of 8 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH. This initiative is part of the municipality’s integrated efforts to support the Guests of Allah and ensure a smoother and safer Hajj experience.
The participating centers are located in Al-Kharj, Qiddiya, Al-Quwaiiyah, Rumah, Afif, and Wadi ad-Dawasir. The total area of these centers reached 96,362 square meters, with pilgrims arriving aboard 558 buses and 30 shuttle trips operated to facilitate their transportation with ease.
A total of 82 entities from the government, private, and non-profit sectors contributed to the services provided. Additionally, 2,029 volunteers participated in the efforts, resulting in the distribution of over 18,000 meals, 84,450 bottles of water, 6,329 kilograms of dates, and 52,043 gifts to pilgrims.
Furthermore, 10,753 pilgrims benefited from the medical examination services provided by the municipality at the sites, as part of an integrated system aimed at supporting health and enhancing the safety of pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey.
These efforts reflect the Riyadh Municipality’s commitment to its social and humanitarian responsibilities, by offering an effective organizational and field environment that supports the Guests of Allah and contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, paving the way for a prosperous, sustainable city with a high quality of life.
