His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, met the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alastair King, and his accompanying delegation during an official visit aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and expanding partnership opportunities between London and Riyadh across various sectors.

During the visit, a comprehensive meeting was held in which both parties explored avenues for integration between the two cities in several key sectors. The discussions focused on exchanging expertise in the fields of innovation, quality of life, and urban planning, with the aim of supporting both capitals in achieving a more sustainable and competitive future.

Attending the meeting from the Riyadh Municipality were Engineer Salman Al-Dahmash, Deputy for Investment, and Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Shuwaier, Deputy for Institutional Services. Also present were a number of chief executives involved in Riyadh’s urban projects and initiatives. These included Jane MacGivern, CEO of the Sports Boulevard Company , Abdullah bin Suleiman Abu Dawood, CEO of Remat Riyadh Development Company , Engineer Asim Al-Suhaibani, CEO of Riyadh Holding Company , Jihad bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, CEO of Riyadh Development Company , and Engineer Fahad bin Suleiman Al-Baddah, CEO of the Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh Region.

From the British side, the delegation included Alice Burt, Deputy British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Henry Lee, Private Secretary; and Rhys Patrick Roberts, Head of Gulf Innovation and Growth. Also accompanying the delegation were senior executives from leading British firms, including Peter Dunbar, Head of the Middle East and Africa at Aberdeen Investments; Richard Mockett, Regional Director at Howden Insurance Brokers; Elkhan Nasibov, General Manager of GuavaRay Limited ,  Kira Milne, Program Director at KPMG  and Salim Quadri, Head of the Investment Sector.
