In September 2024, Riyadh Municipality intensified its efforts to enhance compliance and environmental operations across the governorates and centers within the Riyadh Region. These efforts aimed to improve quality of life, enhance service delivery, and activate community participation in the city’s growth and prosperity through a range of environmental, health, and municipal services.

Key accomplishments included:

• Repairing 75,393 square meters of road potholes and surface depressions.

• Maintaining 15,848 light poles.

• Recording 1,481 public health violations.

• Filling 131,242 potholes.

• Handling 6,755 reports received via the 940 Call Center.

• Conducting 18,344 compliance monitoring tours.

• Carrying out 7,436 pest control rounds.

• Repairing 91,978 square meters of sidewalks.

• Removing 136,296 tons of waste.

These achievements reflect the municipality’s leading role in urban, environmental, and public health development. They also align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the municipality’s strategic objective to make Riyadh a thriving, high-quality city offering premium services to residents and visitors, strengthening its position as a competitive urban and environmental leader.
