In Riyadh city, festivities will take place in 12 public parks across various neighborhoods, running from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., offering a joyful atmosphere for all age groups that combines entertainment, culture, and creative interaction. The events include theatrical performances showcasing traditional and folkloric arts, interactive competitions, and roaming shows moving between celebration sites. Dedicated children’s zones will feature workshops such as ink making, handicrafts, coloring Najdi doors, and jewelry crafting, alongside fun activities like face painting and balloon releases.
Other attractions include 360-degree interactive photo booths, national musical performances blending the oud and violin, and a variety of folkloric displays. Visitors will also enjoy a complete experience through areas dedicated to shops, restaurants, and cafés offering products with a national flair, in addition to artistic installations, creative exhibits reflecting heritage and ambition, and immersive visual storytelling of the Kingdom’s journey. Traditional games for children and youth, as well as national musical evenings featuring local artists, will further enrich the program.
Meanwhile, municipalities across the Riyadh region will host National Day festivities in 47 locations across governorates and affiliated centers, with more than 205 diverse events spanning three days and engaging wide community participation. These include folkloric performances, national parades, artistic and cultural segments, children’s activities such as drawing, workshops, and physical games, interactive photo booths, poetry and music evenings, and areas featuring shops and traditional foods that add a national spirit to the celebrations.
Through these events, the Riyadh Municipality seeks to strengthen pride in national identity, revive significant milestones in the Kingdom’s history, and foster belonging and patriotism. The celebrations also highlight the Municipality’s role in organizing interactive civic and community events that bring people together and provide a rich, holistic experience.
