2025-10-07His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh, visited the Northern and Eastern Sectors as well as several “Madinty” offices in the districts of Al-Uqayq and Al-Khaleej. The visits come within His Highness’s ongoing follow-up to review the readiness of the newly launched Madinty Offices established in various neighborhoods of the capital under the “Transform Riyadh Municipal Baladi Transformation Program” which aims to enhance residents’ experience and facilitate access to municipal services through a unified, advanced digital platform.
His Highness began his tour at the Al-Uqayq “Madinty” Office, where he received a briefing on the operating mechanism, toured the waiting area, customer-care and consultation offices, internal departments, the community-engagement unit, service-support section, and the multipurpose hall. He also viewed a presentation on the beneficiary-reception process and the office’s key achievements during its trial phase.
He then proceeded to the Northern Sector headquarters, where he viewed the multipurpose hall and a presentation highlighting the sector’s functions before touring several of its departments.
In the same context, His Highness visited the Al-Khaleej “Madinty” Office to inspect its overall readiness and operational workflow, and watched a presentation detailing the office’s divisions and the roles assigned to each unit.
Afterward, he moved on to the Eastern Sector, where he was shown a presentation on the sector’s operations and toured its departments, receiving a detailed explanation of the adopted work methodology.
The Transform Riyadh – Municipal Baladi Transformation Program introduces a new model for managing and operating the city, founded on decentralization and proximity to local needs in each geographic area. This transformation restructures a comprehensive system consisting of central agencies with supervisory and strategic functions, five empowered service sectors operating on the ground and attuned to residents’ needs, and a network of “Madinty” offices across the capital to welcome beneficiaries and provide municipal services more easily and efficiently.
