Tomorrow marks the launch of the Ezwah Riyadh Forum and Award for Community Participation, organized by the Riyadh Municipality under the patronage of Riyadh Remat Company, the municipality’s developmental arm. The event will take place at Hilton Riyadh Hotel, with the participation of a distinguished group of experts and specialists in community work and urban development.
The forum and award aim to promote awareness of community practices within the municipal sector and to highlight impactful initiatives that have empowered residents and stakeholders to actively participate and volunteer toward achieving more sustainable development. The event will also showcase inspiring national experiences that strengthened the partnership between the community and the municipal sector and contributed to advancing institutional volunteerism across Saudi cities.
Through its panel discussions and accompanying workshops, the forum will cover several themes related to building effective partnerships among government entities, the private sector, and the non-profit sector. It will also present best practices in managing volunteer initiatives and community responsibility programs, ensuring an integrated effort toward a more vibrant and engaged society aligned with urban development goals.
An accompanying exhibition will display successful models of community initiatives implemented by the municipality and its partners across various districts of Riyadh. The exhibition will enable participants to explore distinguished local experiences that empowered residents to contribute to neighborhood development and improve their urban environment, in line with the municipality’s vision of making Riyadh’s residents active partners in shaping their city’s future.
